Caching

You can choose the type of caching to be used by CometChat from the available caching options.

File Caching

If you do not want to install anything additional or use any third-party service, you can simply select File Caching as your caching type.

Memcache

You can select Memcache as your caching option to reduce the server load and speed up overall response.

Provide the server name and server port of your configured Memcache server and click on Update Listing.

Memcachier

You can select Memcachier by creating an account on www.memcachier.com.

You may sign up on the Memcachier website and select a provider as per your requirements.

MemCachier

In your CometChat Administration panel, provide the server name and server port of your configured Memcachier server along with your Memcachier account details and click on Update Listing.

APC

You can enable APC on your server and select APC as your caching type.

Wincache

You can enable Wincache on your server and select Wincache as your caching type.

SQLite

You can enable SQLite on your server and select SQLite as your caching type.

You can select Memcached as your caching option for your Linux system.
